Something for everyone…

It’s important to us that you’re happy where you live and that you have access to opportunities to improve your quality of life.

Getting involved means:

  • Telling us what you think and helping make our services better
  • Making a difference where you live
  • Developing your skills and knowledge.

What next?

If you would like to get involved, get more information, or would like to share a new idea for an involvement activity, send us an email and we’ll get in touch!

Helping you take part

We will do all we can to make sure you can attend any sessions that interest you. Here are some ways we can help:

Transport: If you have mobility problems, we can organise transport for you. We will also reimburse bus tickets, car mileage and parking tickets to make sure you’re not out of pocket.

Care or childcare costs: We can reimburse you up to £10 per hour for care and childcare costs with a registered carer (Ofsted number and receipt must be provided). Prior notice must be given.

Disabled Access: We make sure the venues we use have disabled access and hearing loops. We have staff who are trained in British Sign language, and can provide documents in large print or audio upon request.

Language barriers: If language barriers are a problem, we can provide translators upon request.
