We are committed to maintaining clean, safe, and attractive outdoor spaces across our neighbourhoods. Our Grounds maintenance service ensures that communal grassed areas are cared for throughout the year, creating pleasant environments for residents and visitors.

Our Team works to maintain communal landscapes to a high standard while supporting biodiversity and protecting the local environment.

Communal shrub beds and planted boarders

Hedges and trees

Footpaths, access paths and hard surfaces

Private gardens are the responsibility of the individual customer, unless stated otherwise stated in the tenancy agreement.

Grass Cutting

During the growing season (typically April-November), grassed areas will be cut regularly to maintain a neat and healthy appearance.

Our service includes:

  • Routine grass cutting on all communal areas
  • Grass maintained between 25mm & 50mm in height during the growing season
  • Strimming around obstacles such as, signs, trees, and fencing
  • Edging of grass boarders where required

Grass cutting frequency may vary depending on weather conditions or grass growth

Shrub and Hedge maintenance

Shrubs and Hedges are maintained to ensure they remain healthy, tidy, and do not obstruct paths, roads or visibility.

Our Service includes:

  • Pruning shrubs and bushes to maintain shape and growth
  • Hedge trimming typically once per year or more frequently where required
  • Removing overgrowth affecting walkways, entrances and signage

Weed Control

We manage weeds across communal areas to maintain a tidy appearance and prevent damage to hard surfaces.

This includes:

  • Weed treatment on footpaths, access paths, and communal paved areas.
  • Weed management in planted beds & boarders
  • Targeted treatment throughout the growing season

Environmentally reasonable methods are used wherever possible

Leaf Clearance

During Autumn months we will remove fallen leaves from key areas to maintain safety and accessibility. This includes clearing leaves from:

  • Footpaths and walkways
  • Access paths
  • Communal entrance and high use areas

Litter and General Tidiness

Our operatives remove litter found during routine visits to help keep communal areas clean and welcoming. Where required, this may include:

  • Collecting visible litter from landscaped areas
  • Removing fly-tipping waste from communal areas
  • Reporting larger items or environmental hazards for removal

Health, Safety and Environment

The safety of residents, visitors and our staff is a priority. Our service is delivered by trained operatives who:

  • Follow safe working practices and risk assessments
  • Use professional equipment and protective clothing
  • Work in a way that minimises disruption to customers
  • Aim to protect wildlife habitats and support biodiversity
