The Income and Tenancy Sustainment Team at Calico Homes has been named Team of the Year at the 2026 Mobysoft Customer Awards.
The awards ceremony took place at Manchester Hall on Tuesday 23 June and brought together housing organisations from across the country to celebrate teams and individuals making a positive difference for customers.
More than 30 entries were submitted for the Team of the Year award, making it one of the most competitive categories of the evening. The award recognises teams that go the extra mile to support customers through difficult circumstances, and this year the judges chose Calico Homes as the winner.
The team’s work has helped more customers stay on top of their rent and maintain their tenancies. Over the past year, arrears have fallen to a record low, rent collection has exceeded target and many customers who were experiencing financial difficulties are now either debt-free or making steady progress towards becoming debt-free.
The team also works closely with customers who may be facing a range of challenges, helping them access support and making sure concerns are identified early. Whether that’s providing tenancy support, making safeguarding referrals or working alongside partner organisations, the team plays an important role in helping some of Calico Homes’ most vulnerable customers.

Tenancy Sustainment Officers also lead on domestic abuse triage referrals, ensuring customers receive the right support as quickly as possible. Their work has contributed to Calico Homes achieving DAHA Gold Accreditation, recognising the organisation’s commitment to supporting those affected by domestic abuse and embedding best practice across its services.

The award is recognition of the hard work, care and commitment shown by the team every day. By building strong relationships with customers, identifying issues early and offering practical support, they continue to make a real difference to people’s lives across Burnley and the surrounding areas.
