We are committed to keeping communal areas clean, safe, and well-maintained for all residents. This standard explains what you can expect from our communal cleaning service.

Cleaning Schedule

  • Communal areas are cleaned every 8 weeks throughout the year
  • An additional annual deep clean is carried out once per year during the winter period.

What we Clean

During routine visits, our team will clean the following areas:

Fire Safety and Storage

For fire safety reasons, no personal items must be stored in the communal areas, including:

  • Shoes
  • Bicycles
  • Pushchairs
  • Furniture
  • Bags or Boxes
  • Electric Scooters or E-bikes
  • Plants, matts, or carpet
  • Any other belongings

These areas must always remain clear to allow safe escape routes in the event of an emergency.

Items left in the communal areas may be removed in line with fire safety regulations.

Where removal and disposal are required, the cost of this work may be recharged to the residents.

 

Emergency Lighting Checks

To ensure communal safety, emergency lighting checks are carried out every month.
