This round saw the highest number of voters to date, a testament to the growing momentum of this initiative and the incredible impact it has on our communities. Investing in local community groups doesn’t just benefit the individuals who access these vital services—it also supports the dedicated leaders and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes. From raising funds to finding group leads and taking the time to truly understand and support their service users, these leaders ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get involved.

Your Round 3 winners:
Fun Church – St. Matthew’s Church
A weekly program during school terms, providing a safe and supportive space for 30-40 children and 20-30 adults.
Activities include:
✔️ Games, crafts, and challenges
✔️ Songs, Bible stories, and prayers
✔️ Shared meals to strengthen community bonds
Padiham Hub – Hugs for Free
The Community Art and Wellbeing – Community Craft Evening project, run by Hugs for Free and Padiham Hub, fosters creativity and emotional well-being through:
✔️ Twice-weekly art sessions with local artists
✔️ Evening craft workshops for children
✔️ A focus on mental well-being and social connection
Viv, who runs the hub, was overjoyed, saying “There are no words to even describe how we feel. We work hard and we are extremely proud of what we do. From every single one of us just thank you.”
