Burnley housing provider Calico Homes has received a clean bill of health from the national regulator for the way the company’s run and its firm financial footing.
Calico Homes secured a top rating for governance and financial viability in an assessment by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
The assessment focussed on a range of key subjects, including Calico’s approach to providing Value for Money for customers and other stakeholders, its financial management, and how the organisation is governed.
The rating reaffirms that, despite the challenges housing companies are facing nationally, Calico Homes continues to perform strongly and has plans in place to ensure this continues into the future.
Helen Thompson, director of customer services, said:
“I’m so proud that Calico has received this fantastic rating from the HCA. This is proof that all of the hard work and commitment our teams put in every day is making our business stronger.
“As our business continues to thrive, the more people we can support in our communities.”
