Lockdown services update – January 2021

5th January 2021

Given the recent Government update, England is now under national lockdown restrictions. We’d like to reassure our customers that there are no significant changes to our service delivery. We will ensure that, through regular reviews of risk assessments and working methods, we continue to operate our services safely and working to guidelines.

Domestic Abuse

Please remember that if you are living with domestic abuse, you CAN leave your home to seek support. To report domestic abuse, access support or if you have any concerns or questions, please contact us by phoning 01282 686300 (Lines are open 8am to 6pm Mon-Fri) or email contact@calicohomes.org.uk.

You can also contact SafeNet Domestic Abuse and Support Services for advice. Call 0300 303 581, email contact@safenet.org.uk or visit safenet.org.uk, where you can access a daily live chat support service.

Always call 999 in an emergency situation.

Repairs

We are continuing to deliver a full repairs service, including emergencies and catching-up on any repairs reported during lockdown. You can report a new repair by calling us on 01282 686 300. If you have an existing repair booked in and would like to cancel or rearrange, please contact us to discuss. Our colleagues are adhering to strict safety guidelines whilst working in your home. We ask that if you or anyone in your household is shielding, or has COVID (including symptoms), please let us know ASAP and we will rearrange. Exceptions are in place for emergency situations.

Lettings

We are continuing to process housing applications, viewings and let our empty homes to customers as normal. We will closely follow social distancing guidelines and have appropriate risk assessments in place. If you would like to discuss this process in more detail, please call 01282 686 300

Centenary Court

In line with the government’s guidance around the closure of businesses and venues, and to ensure the safety of customers and staff, our Centenary Court reception in Burnley will remain closed until further notice. We will continue to post any relevant updates on our website and social media channels and notify customers when we are able to reopen
